This week we held our very first Sponsored Colour Run. The main event saw over 200 enthusiastic children, parents and staff creating an unforgettable experience through an obstacle course around the school field for children and adults to be showered with powdered colours at various stations and all to raise funds for our Friends of School Association Charity (FOSA).
A significant amount of planning and organising went in to ensure it was a successful event and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our parents, pupils and staff participants, sponsors, and our wonderful FOSA and Academy Committee volunteers who made the event a resounding success!
An unbelievable grand total of £2,789.62 profit was raised through sponsorship and paint sales and in the coming weeks we will be able to share FOSA’s plans for the school projects, led by our pupils, that this will contribute toward funding! We are immensely proud of our community and the collective effort to create a memorable event for everyone involved and we are already looking forward to next year! Well done everyone!
Our FOSA team all work exceptionally hard throughout the year, to support us to offer extra-curricular events and opportunities for our pupils. Thank you FOSA – it’s been terrific year so far with more to come!
