Year 6 Visit to IWM Duxford
Year 6 had a great trip to the Imperial War Museum Duxford. Luckily, the rain held off and we were able to enjoy bringing our learning to life.
It was emotional, educational, entertaining and exciting.
We were able to see up-close the planes, tanks, artillery, submarines, uniform, equipment, weapons and much much more. We read real life stories and accounts and reflected upon what life was really like for people during WW1, WW2, the Cold War, the Battle of Britain and other key events in History.
We were even lucky enough to see two Spitfires, multiples bi-planes and passenger planes take off and land.
