This week children from across Years 1, 2, 3 and 4 represented our Academy at the Downham Cluster Tri-Golfing event hosted by Holy Cross Primary school.
Our Kids with Bricks Club was a hit again this week with even more children joining the after-school club.
Kids With Bricks Club started this week! It was very well attended, a huge amount of fun while developing strategy, resilience and confidence too. Winning entry photos will be uploaded to our albums page each week, voted by Ms Roberts, the club leader and the children in the club.
With the warmer weather coming (hopefully!), and the field opening up to our children, it is not unusual to see an increase in allergy symptoms appearing.
Children enjoyed an exceptional Earth Day Fesitval at Nelson Academy Primary School and Nelson Academy Nursery today, educating us about conservation and sustainability, nurturing our love of the outside world!
On Saturday 19th April, Ms Roberts, our Librarian, Mrs Fisher, our Reading Champion and Miss Ellington opened our library to parents, children and the wider community for the very first time.
Today, our Year 5 Football Team took part in the West Norfolk School Sports Partnership Cluster tournament held at Hillcrest Primary school.

Earlier this week we sent a team of KS2 girls to complete in the West Norfolk School Sports Partnership Downham Cluster Bee Netball Tournament held at Downham Market Academy.
It was a pleasure to welcome so many parents and family members to our Spring Term Parent consultations this week. These were held over two evenings, with our Pupil Leadership and Academy Council members supporting to ensure everything was set up.
Red Nose Day today was a barrel of laughs. PLT asked all pupils to bring in their funniest joke to share and they had the tough job of choosing their favourites.
