Anti-Bullying Week 2024 took place this week, with the theme: Teamwork - Choose Respect. This year, we’ll continue to empower our children to not resort to bullying, even when we disagree and remind adults to lead by example, online and offline.
In response to parental feedback, we worked hard last year to develop extra support channels for our parents and carers in relation to SEND. To continue to develop this further, we are taking part in a national project called the Partnership for Inclusion of Neurodiversity In Schools (PINS).
Each year our Year 5 children lead an extremely special assembly in Remembrance of those who have lost their lives to war. A huge thank you and well done to Willow Class.
A huge thank you to our parents/carers and community members that put us forward for Dunelm’s community giveaway. We won! Thank you Dunelm!
Every year our children enjoy a magical trip to the Live Panto staged at the Corn Exchange in King’s Lynn. You would have seen in our key dates that we will all be going on 11th December this year.
Our Kids with Bricks Club starts up again next week! It was very well attended, a huge amount of fun while developing strategy, resilience and confidence too. Winning entry photos will be uploaded to our albums page each week, voted by Ms Roberts, the club leader and the children in the club. Parent and Family Voting!
During the half term break, The Edith Blunt Trustees welcomed school and wider community members to help stake and protect the younger fruit trees in the orchard.
Our Year 5 & 6 footballers took part in the Downham Market Cluster Football Festival on the last day of last half term.
Our children have all contributed to the poppy display in St. Peters Church in Upwell.
Thank you to our parents, carers, pupils and our Academy Committee members for joining us over our two evenings of parent consultations.
