On Tuesday 16th January, Reception Class children took part in our Reading Bear Naming Ceremony.
The children received their reading bears and had to think of a name for their bear to put on their bear’s birth certificate. During the ceremony, the children had to promise to look after their bears and read to them at least three times a week. From now on, every time they read to their bear, they gain a point. With every ten points, they will gain a bow for their bear. Let’s see which bears will be covered in bows by the end of the year.
