Today Mr Harper launched the Junior Duke Award scheme for Year 5. It is a fantastic opportunity for children to undertake a wide range of activities that will help them to develop independence and resilience.
All children in Year 5 are able to take part in the challenge, and those that complete it will be awarded a badge and certificate to celebrate their effort. As part of the launch assembly, two members of Year 6 described their experience of taking part in the challenge and explained why they enjoyed it so much. Find out more on the Junior Duke website.
Can we ask that our Year 6 children return their logbooks please and Mr Harper will sign off your completed tasks. We will present the certificates and badges for any children that have completed 7 out of 10 tasks.
