We have a well-established Lego intervention at the Upwell. Trained staff lead the sessions, which are thoroughly enjoyed by our children.
Previously, we relied on generous donations from staff and families. However, at the end of the Autumn Term, Ms Roberts, our Hive Team Lead, entered and won a competition through Ryan Purdham at Collie Competitions for over £400 worth of new Lego kits.
Children from across the Academy were asked to list their top choices of the kits available, and Ms Roberts put them forward. Thank you, Ms Roberts!
Finally, our new kits have arrived! A total of 22 awesome kits and a lot of happy children who will use these for years to come!
